Way Clinic Founder Jeannie Gallina Passes

We are saddened to announce that The Way Clinic's Founder, Jeanie Gallina, has passed away. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family, who less that two weeks ago laid Jeanie's beloved husband Guy Gallina to rest at Sacred Heart Church in Fleming Island. Jeannie was a visionary and a mover and shaker, founding The Way Free Medical Clinic in 2006 to care for uninsured, low-income Clay County residents, then adding services for pregnant women in need of prenatal and obstetrical care. Her driving force and commitment to addressing the lack of access to affordable healthcare in Clay County created an enduring solution that has grown through the years. Despite Jeannie's passing, her legacy will live on in the hearts of the thousands of individuals who have been helped by The Way Clinic, and in the hearts of those who remain to carry on her work. Arrangements have not been announced, but we will keep the community posted.
